The Inchnadamph Project

Inchnadamph has, over recent years, been the scene of work to stabilise Ardvreck Castle and Calda House and to bring Assynt Old Parish Church back into use as a Historical Centre and community facility.

Work on The MacLeod Vault, in the graveyard, is due to get underway soon.

The Churchyard is also the site of a unique grave marker recording the passing of the crew of an RAF Anson Bomber which crashed into the local hills in April 1941. Their bodies are still interred on the hillside, where a cairn marks the site.

The Inchnadamph Project continues its work.

[The Old Kirk, Inchnadamph is open from 1pm to 4pm on Wednesdays during June, and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm to 4pm during July, August and September.
