The Lodge is set amid breathtaking wild hills and lochs. Ravens and eagles soar above, curious red deer visit, pine martens and otters pass by. The magical mountains of Suilven and Canisp tower over you: you have arrived in the perfect place to walk through historic glens, admire ancient geological masterpieces, go fishing or climb if you choose. You are still close to the amenities of Lochinver. This could be your holiday of a lifetime!

Glencanisp Lodge is part of the community owned Glencanisp Estate. It was bought, together with Drumrunie Estate, by the community in June 2005. The aim of the Assynt Foundation is to help ensure the sustainability of our community by creating jobs and opportunities, and to safeguard the natural and cultural heritage of the land for future generations and the enjoyment of the wider public.
