Sunday, 26th May
Annual Bird Race.
How many birds can you see in a couple of hours on the Stoer peninsula? Join us for a bit of fun.
Come with a team or be allocated to one when you arrive. Meet at Stoer Hall (NC041297) for 11a.m. start.
Finish at Stoer Lighthouse car park at 1 p.m. for lunch (bring your own) and to compare scores.
Prize for the winners.

Sunday, 30th June.
Loch Beannach, Little Assynt, for insects.
Exploring the insect life on the eastern side of the loch, as far round as Ruigh Coinich, with Stephen Moran.
Meet by the pool at NC143252 (or old road opposite) at 11a.m.; bring lunch.
Distance c.4km, off paths; waterproof footwear recommended.
Rescheduled 2018 meeting, which was cancelled.

Laxford River, for riverside and woodland flowers.
Meet at Laxford Bridge (NC236467) at 11.00 a.m.; bring lunch.
We shall be exploring the area along Creag nan Suidheag Mor (NC2546), where twinflower Linnaea borealis occurs. Distance 2+km on riverside path (quite strenuous).

Fungus Foray at Dundonnell House, Wester Ross, with Bruce Ing by kind permission of the Dundonnell Estate.
Meet just off the road to the House at NH113857 at 11.00 a.m.; bring lunch.

Sunday, 22nd Sept.
Traligill Valley, Inchnadamph, to explore watercourses and caves, with Pete Harrison of the North West Highlands Geopark.
Meet at the Inchnadamph carpark (NC251216) at 11.00 a.m.; bring lunch.
Distance c.6km, mainly on paths.
