Saturday, 26th May
Visit to Handa Island organised by Loch Broom Field Club and led by Jenny Grant, former Handa Warden; meet at Tarbet pier in time for first boat about 10a.m;

Sunday, 27th May
Annual Bird Race.
How many birds can you see in a couple of hours on the Stoer peninsula?
Join us for a bit of fun. Come with a team or be allocated to one when you arrive.
Meet at Stoer Hall (NC041297) for 11a.m. start.
Finish at Stoer Lighthouse car park at 1 p.m. for lunch and to compare scores.
Prize for the winners.

Saturday, 16th June
Trip on Stornoway ferry to look for sea birds and cetaceans.
Ferry leaves Ullapool at 10.30a.m. (check-in for passengers
closes 10a.m.), arrives Stornoway 1 p.m.; leaves Stornoway at 3.30 p.m., (check-in for passengers closes 3.00p.m.) arrives Ullapool 6p.m.
Buy your own ticket, cost 19.00 return.

Upper Badcall for coastal flowers.
Meet at the road end (NC153417) at 11a.m.; bring lunch.
Visiting an interesting saltmarsh and other shore-line/sea-cliff habitats.
Distance c.1.5km, off paths.

Thursday 9th August
Walk to Stac Fada, site of the meteorite. Led by Pete Harrison North West Highlands Geopark.
Meet at Stoer Cemetery at 6pm; 2km off path.
This will be followed by a talk and discussion regarding new research into the meteorite at 7.30pm in Stoer Hall. Contact: Andy Summers (01571 844654)

Loch Beannach, Little Assynt for insects.
Exploring the insect life on the eastern edge of the loch, as far round as Ruigh Coinich, with Stephen Moran.
Meet by the pool at NC143252 (or old road opposite) at 11a.m.; bring lunch.
Distance c. 4km, off paths.

Fungus Foray, Little Assynt. Led by Bruce Ing.
Meet at the main car park by the Tree Nursery at (NC153251) at 11a.m.; bring lunch.
Distance c. 2km, on the Loop, Link and All Abilities Paths.
